Ford Mustang battery charging problem

Ok so my boyfriends car can get jumped and then
the battery will last for five minutes and then dies
again? He just got a new battery and alternator and
had it bench tested ? I don't know what to do

you need to double check the alternator wiring if it is not properly engaged ( lose) it will not charge
