Why does my car stall when you put it into gears, will start in neutral as soon as you put it into gear, any gear stalls

Sounds like a locked up Torque Converter.

Could it maybe be something like a Trans filter? Car has almost 53,000 mi.


Usually you would hear a buzzing noise and it would go into gear but might not move, the engine would not die.
