I headlights are not lasting long they seem to
blowing out within a 2 mth period.  Is that normal

No, it is not normal. I would have the alternator output checked to see if it is putting out excessive voltage. If you are handy and have a DC voltmeter available you can measure the voltage at the battery engine running. It should be in the 13.5 to 14.5 DC volts range, if it is over that that could cause short bulb life and the alternator may need to be replaced. Also when replacing bulbs do NOT touch the glass envelope with your fingers as the oil from your fingers can cause uneven expansion of the glass causing the bulb to crack.

Bob gave you very good advise, but he forgot to mention grounding issues, especially with Fiat/Chrysler products, so check the headlight ground wires, make sure they are clean and tight.
