How to activate compass

2014 Elantra GT with compass inop. has Blue Link but not activated and
purchased used with 1100 miles. Rear view mirror has all the buttons for Blue
Link and 3 buttons for Home link and center button to activate system. No lights
on mirror come on. Do I have to sign up for Blue Kink just to have the compass
work?

Blue lInk was disabled for 2012 to 2014 models including the Elantra back in January 2022. Hyundai decided it was no longer going to support it. But the compass feature was not part of the Blue link feature. Are you sure your vehicle even had the the compass option? What does your owners manual say?
