Does anyone know if the Ford Edge has an engine that can last up 200,000 miles or more and is it durable to drive to the city everyday for work?
I drive 50 miles a day total going to work and coming home. The roads are bad, too. So, I'm concerned that this vehicle won't last. Although, I love the way it looks and feel while driving.
Hmmmmmmm, it's a Ford. NO!
I beg to differ. If you maintain the engine by replacing the oil on 5K intervals and keep the levels up, you can do it. It's more than durable for work commuting. Just maintain the vehicle and it should treat you well. Depending on where you live, the only thing I would say might be problem is rust.
With proper servicing it should last well beyond 200,000 miles. There will be repairs along the way, as with any vehicle.
They have a great drive train, get it oil sprayed every two years, do regular servicing, oil changes every 5k you will enjoy the Ford Edge
