I have a 1995 jeep wrangler and when the engine gets warm it starts cutting out, losing power
I have replaced the catalytic converter. I am stumped. The only things I can think of it the
usual, fuel filter, pump, carb, something along that line, but shouldn't I be having the
cutting out issue almost immediately if it were these issues?
Check for memory codes, if nothing listed you may have to do a manual sensor scan, a sensor might be sending a misread signal causing the ECM to make adjustments on faulty information when it goes into closed loop you should also check and clean all of the sensor grounds, a bad ground can cause all sorts of driveabality concerns.
A faulty converter will not cause it to cut out. It may cause it to lake power, but not cut out.
