1995 Jeep Wrangler O2 Sensor been replaces 2x in one week
1995 Jeep Wrangler "check engine light" comes on due to O2 sensor. I have replaced the sensor twice in one week. After driving 20 miles, "check engine light comes back on and sensor is not working. Is there a short in the system or what is causing the O2 sensor to fail for frequently?
What code or codes are you getting, sometimes an O2 code isn't the sensor but something else is amiss that causes the sensor to trip. Reply back with the numbers.
disconnect the connector at pcm. clean terms w/ brake cleaner and compressed air. put dielectric grease back into connector pin holes. and reassm. The code is usually ...o2 sensor shorted to voltage. Was this the code?
