we have a 98 jeep wrangler and the soft top and the hard doors do not meet. there is a space. do we need the door surrounds or is the soft top the wrong size?
Probably the latter- keep in mind that the first jeeps did not even have tops- the beauty of the Wrangler is that it continues this "rough it" tradition- if you want a car that doesn't get you wet or cold, you should get something else- otherwise, just leave the top down and go gonzo-
you will definitely need the black door surrounds if you don't have them, they attach to the windchield, rollbar, and a pin goes in to the body
