What gear do u drive in?

If it's an automatic, just put it in D and go. It shifts by itself. If your confused about the 1,2 and 3 on the shifter, that's usually just for downshifting if you're towing a load or you want so slow down going down a large hill. Other than that, just shift to D and drive.
