Can you put an engine from a 1995 grand cherokee in a 2000 grand cherokee?
probably wouldn't suggest it, but yes you can... it might take a bit to get it to work properly tho.
yes you can, but like stated above it simply isnt worth it. there are several differences between the engines. the 95 has a distributor and the 2000 is coil on plug. also the ecus will be different.
Yes it will bolt up but NO you cannot because the stuff up front on the pulley end bolts up different, tried it already will no way to do it. Don't waste your time I already wasted my time for you lol
Thanks I will pass on this one. Thanks again.
No the 1995 engine is analog in terms of not having an electronic computer to detect problems and monitor and communicate back to the 2000 computer on board! Nuts and bolts wise it would connect but electronically the 2000 would not be able to monitor any of the subsystems!!
Can you put a 4.o out of a 97 grand Cherokee into a 95 cherokee
When putting in a engine in a 1996 jeep grand cherokee is it best to put transmission side in first
I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 will a 1995 engine fit in it
Inadvisable - OBD1 engines in OBD2 cars is such a bad idea.
