Brakelights & taillight don't work
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4wd. The brake lights do not come on at all (no
difference when headlights are on). Also, when the headlights are on, only the right
tail light is on, the left tail light is out. Please help! Thank you in advance for any
help. Have a wonderful day. :)
Hello, Unfortunately I am going through a similar situation. Except I have a 2007 JGC and when I have my headlights on at night, all of the back lights go off. Brake lights work perfect during the day, but when I turn on my headlights they all shut off. Let me know if you find an answer to this. It may help with my issue. Thanks, Pagan2k3
UGH...I am goign through the SAME problem. The mechanic says I need to replace BOTH light units in the rear (total...$230 and that is with a hefty discount). I am hopin there is another answer.
Hey there I have a jeep grand cherokee 2001 lerado had similer problem. No brake lights. turns out when one blows it shorts the rest pop out your lights and check around the bulbs look for melted plastic. really easy to fix. Go to your closest scrap yard $50 bucks a piece. takes 2 mins to change. Bring a screw driver. PS double check your wires and buy new bulbs $5-10 bucks hope this helps.
sounds like chineese ornamental lights - 1 go's out the rest do too... WTF...
