how do i change transmission fluid/filter in 1995 ford contour

car starts up wont go into drive, there was oil in the transmission fluid, i am flushing the
system, but cant find where the filter goes,

I'm pretty sure your car uses the CD4E transaxle, which does not have a servicible filter. You only change the filter if you are rebuilding it. Why is oil getting into the trans? I would fix that issue before you fire up the car again.
