1988 GMC Sierra air conditioner has no power at dashboard display, no blower, no heater. Checked the fuse dasand it is okay. Found a relay on firewall, but how can I tell if this is problem?

I had the same and turned out to be the controller module Had gone thru 2 then gm found a wire back feeding and blowing the unit. Had them run a new wire and put new controller in , no issues any more..... This is on my 97 gmc
