You likely have a coolant leak. The cause needs to be investigated.

I am only aware of TWO green fluids: Either (1) aftermarket aintifreeze ( Mercedes uses a yellow mixture ) or (2) somebody put CTF hydraulic fluid in something - possibly the power steering unit. BMW uses CTF on several models - don't know whether Mercedes ever did.....
