How do you fix the electric window on drivers side? It won't go up or down. It is stuck onat bottom of door. when raised by hand it will not go to the top and is hitting something 3/4 shut.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have taken off inside panel to get at the window but can't figure how it works
to roll up and down.  If you push it up by hand it will not go to the top.
Something is stopping it at about one foot from the top.  It seems it is
disengaged.  How do you engage window again so it works?

A complete window regulator can be purchased, '04 12 years old! has cycled up and down a lot! call around and price one. You will save time and energy, after discovering the one you're checking is not worth trying to repair. regards
