Wrench dashboard warning light

Asked by Jan 21, 2019 at 10:45 AM about the 2013 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The wrench warning light came on the next day after my
2013 Ford focus was stuck in the snow. Could that be the
reason for the light and what can I do about it?

Could be that some electrical component got wet when snow piled up under the hood melted. It's probably minor and if the car runs well the CEL should eventually extinguish. In the meantime, go to a car parts store and have codes read to find out.

The wrench light and see owners manual came on and my car (2015 Ford Fusion eco boost) won’t completely start (just putters and acts like it then dies out) after being stuck in the snow two days ago.
