Subaru Outback battery dead and car is locked.
I have a 2013 Subaru Outback that has push button start. Seems my battery is
dead and the key fob will not unlock the car - Need to unlock the car so to pop
the hood to change the battery. What do I do?
No key lock on the door?
Hey - I just figured that out [bang head on wall!]. Forgot about key in fob. Got into the car. Now can fix. Thanks for your help.
I hate when that happens!
i have been there too it is the simple things that we forget
Next time purchase an AGM battery or even better get a spiral cell battery....they last much longer than ordinary batteries.... Overall, four years is the optimal time for most batteries.. beyond that you're on borrowed time.. make sure you have your AAA card handy.
You do know Mark that Optima batteries are AGM?
