1996 thunderbird pressure drop
you replaced the oil sending unit,is that what you mean by pressure switch.OK I own 3 T-Bird Super Coupe,s.if your motor has NO ticking.knocking and dont use oil, dont pay any attention to the gadge, they are known as dummy gadges after a while they give a false reading.
why it does it when it warms up only I am trying to sell it people think something is wrong when it goes down at stop light
when the oil is cold it will have pressure,as it warms up it drops, did you change the oil sending unit, still the gadges dont work right.nothing to worrie about as long as their is no noise in motor.this is common on electric gadges.
my 87t bird has same symptoms-uses no oil, engine runs smooth(302efi)I think I will ignore!t hanks for info!
