My gas gauge does not work. What would the replacement part cost and an approximate labot cost?

the repair involves removing the gas tank to replace the fuel level sending unit. Used or rebuilt units should be about $150 although a creative mechanic may be able to use a generic sending unit that is compatible with Isuzu's gage ohm-range requirement. The labor depends on the condition of the tank and straps but I'd guess about 3-4 hrs for the job.
