My trunk on my Mercedes sl550 is locked and I can only open it with the key

I opened the trunk on my 2013 Mercedes SL550 once with the inside button and then shut it. Now I can't get it opened with the smart key or the inside button. The only way to open it is with the mechanical key and then it locks back again. How can I get it to work with the smart key and inside button again?

I carried mine into the MB dealership. It is likely the least expensive price you will ever pay to take the SL's in for repairs.
