Compare 2013 ford Taurus with Hyundai sonata 2015

Can't decide to. Buy used Ford or new
sonata

hyundai ! why because its 2 year newer...to start with!

But $100 more a month and it's hard for me to make a $450 compared $350

Ford will add 7yr 100 k warranty

Buying new is usually your best bet. Then you know the car's history from day 1 and aren't buying somebody else's troubles. But if new isn't in your budget, buy a used vehicle that you can afford. I bought my '08 Mercury Grand Marquis in 2012 with 31,000 miles on it. I've been very happy with it. I ran the Carfax and checked it over very carefully. I didn't want a car payment that was too high and the Mercury fit my budget. HTH. -Jim

If it's from a Ford dealership, have them certify it. Also, look at depreciation difference between the two. The Taurus will hold it's value a lot better. Within a few years, that Sonata will be worth less than the Ford even though it's 2 years newer. Also, the Taurus is a larger car.
