2013 Ford Edge with capless fuel system. Can water or foreign substance get into the fuel tank because it doesn't have a cap on it?
Took vehicle to the dealer and they said a soapy substance was found at the filler neck and possibly contaminated the fuel! The vehicle cranked but didnt start. After a couple days of having the vehicle the dealer charged $1100 to drain fuel, replace spark plugs, one injector and a complete fuel system flush. I then get the car back and filled it with fuel and it broke down on the road with the same problem. was towed to another dealer and they fixed the car under warranty since it only had 7300 miles on it with a code for fuel pump curcuit failure.
go back to the frst place and try to get refunded and if they say no take them to small claims court.
