Hyundai Sonata 2013 slows down, all lights come up and then stops. Why?

Asked by Guru9FYFTH Nov 22, 2022 at 01:30 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2013 Hyundai Sonata serviced a wk ago all of a sudden slowed down, all lights
come up for a few seconds (Motor, oil, PBS, seat bell) and stopped. Restarted
car and everything is fine. Dealer cannot take me in for 3 wks and other
mechanics do not want to touch it if no lights are showing. Should I be worried?

That sounds like the engine lawsuit recall. It's for safety because some of these engines catch on fire or just shut down due to hybrid failure. Check your VIN for Recall 198 & Service Campaign 966.
