Back in like 2005 GM started to put a fine screen type basket in on V8's that I know of, under the oil pressure sending unit. They of course get plugged up and need to be cleaned as it blocks the oil sending unit from reading proper oil pressure. It would be worth taking out the oil pressure sending unit and look to see if it is there, The screen would need to be fished out and cleaned.

Ill give it a try somthing i wouldnt of ever thought about n if thats not it what would be then u think

If the motor does not knock, more than likely that would be it. Other wise you get the oil pressure checked with a mechanical gauge to verify the oil pressure, and go from there, bearing inspection, then possible oil pump replacement. But oil pumps usually last the life of the motor.
