shift 1 to2 wont work with out letting off thengas and the o/d light is flashing

shift from 1 to 2 you have to let off gas for it to shift and o/d light

bad lock out in tourk converter,or the tranny is going out.

There is a possibility there is an electronic problem with the flashing OD light. Have the codes read first it may be a simple fix.
