i have a 2007 ford taurus and my PCM went out, ive read alot of stuff on here about how to do it, and im curious if I change it will i have to go to a dealership and get it reprogrammed ? will the car even run? does anyone have any advice?

Buy one that is plug and play. You need one that is the exact same part number as the one you have now.

Hello, I have a 2001 Ford Taurus Wagon and it is having some issues. It starts, however, the idle is jumpy and thr RPM's surge and it sputters and stumbles and back fires at times while driving, and sometimes the gas peddle jumps under my foot.
