No power on bronco
My 96 bronco has new battery new alternator and still
docent keep charge . I unplug the battery cables and it dies.
Alternanot brand new 2nd one already..
Alternator not getting power source or something.
What could it be?
Do you get a charge light when you just turn on the key? That light has to work or the alternator will not get the activation signal to turn on. And of course on a rig this old there is always a possibility of wiring issues.
Check the fusible link in the alternator supply wire. Also, DO NOT disconnect the battery when the engine is running. You are risking damage to the electrical system doing that.
