I have a mercedes c -class 180, with a c220 engine installed in it, the engine does not have power to even screetch on the spot, everyting is in order that is all the sensors are ok.
did you change the engine ecu? if not then your computer is still trying to control a 1.8 so the fuel delivery will be wrong, the fuel/air mix will be wrong and the car will generally run like a piece of shit.
I didn't change the ecu, now i knw where the problem is coming from, cos the car really runs like a piece of shit. Thank you so much, i will replace the 220 with the 180, thanks a lot for your help.
your welcome and have a helpful mark for marking me the best answer, ya know, to get you on your way.
Why i didn't think that it will be the ecu is the fact that there is an oxygen sensor that will the air fuel mixture.
*That will control the air fuel mixture.
easily overlooked bud, don't beat yourself up. sometimes you just need an outsider to point you in the right direction. we've all been there!
