Gas to the floor but Sonata wont accelerate - stays in the 2000 rpm range
My Son's 2001 Hyundai Sonata V6 just stopped accelerating. If you push the gas to the floor whether in park, reverse, neutral and drive it tops out around 2000 rpm. He had to creep it down backstreets to get home at about 5-10 mph. Any ideas?
try one thing doesn't cost nothing in front of car the fuse box under the engine hood pull fuel pump relay out bend pins a little to make relay tighter in socket relay gets hot well driving weakens socket and makes bad connection to relay,
has happen to me.
Thanks. Worth a shot but it didn't work. And I like free fixes. Back to the drawing board.
