iPod adaptor

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just purchased a 2010 CC and I'm very happy with it. It came with the optional iPod adaptor in
the glove box. My only complaint is that I get a little "hiccup" at the beginning of every song on
the iPod. This is especially noticeable with albums where songs seemlessly transition (ie - "Dark
Side of the Moon"). I brought it in to the dealer and they said they couldn't hear the problem, but
that was because they were skipping from one song to the next. You have to let the songs
transition to hear the issue. Has anyone else experienced this - and do you know of a fix?

Yes, I plugged it in made sure there wasnt anything interferring, and the songs sound very staticee?? LOL

I bought a 2010 CC in June. Shortly after, I noticed small glitches with my interface as well. MAJOR lagging when scrolling through list, song names not changing when the song does, also noticed a "hiccup" like yours. From time to time, it even stops playing saying there is not media device. Took it to the dealer, in October, but they couldn't explain it. Changed out my cable yesterday to see if that might be the problem, NOPE. still having issues. disappointed in VW!

Just bought a 2012 CC R-Line and when pulling out of the dealer, noticed the same sound issue. I thought the speakers were blown. I simply changed the settings FROM Loud to Quiet. Problem solved.

2009 CC Luxury. Issues,.. media from ipod stops followed by "there is no media device" displayed on the radio touch display screen. Can we get this fixed? Dealers aren't coming up with one. I unplug the cable, plug back in and off we go again. Frustrating.
