Trouble with aircon

The cooling works fine at first but after say, 30 min, the airflow diminishes even though I
can hear the blower increasing in speed until it goes to max and turns on "Recycle" air.
I thought that the filter might have created a blockage and caused frosting of the heat
exchanger but discovered that there was no filter installed.

Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like the evaporater is freezing up and cutting off the airflow. HTH. -Jim
