Do u mean u took off the battery cables (2) and cleaned them? If so did u use battery post or wire brush to do this. If so, did u put them back & tighten down? The wires on the positive side + of battery, do they look OK? Did all this start right around time u cleaned area? If so, seems to be a result of wat u did. Look real closely at area to see.

This is becoming guite a problem, a lot of late model vehicles today use more than one computer to operate the vehicles systems, and it requires a steady flow of current to maintain factory and customer presets, when you disconnect the battery those presets are lost and you usually wind up going back to the dealer to get the computer system reflashed, I think this has happened too you. Have you tried getting the codes pulled, most parts stores can do this. And while your there, They do make a settings saver tool that plugs into the lighter or the power port that maintains these settings. You might want to pick one up while your there. I bought one just in case. If it does have codes then you can repost them back here and someone will jump in and help you out with further diagnosis.
