Anyone know what to do about the MAF Sensor if I want to install a K&N intake on my 2002 Hyundai Accent?
I recently tried to install a K&N intake on my Accent only to find out it won't work on U.S.
models because of the MAF Sensor... Anyone have ideas what to do about this, or am I
Well, your computer will not like the fact that your MAF sensor is disconnected, and will turn your check engine light on. Also, the engine will not run that well, especially because the MAF sensor helps to tell the computer how much of an air/fuel ratio to throw into the cylinder when the gas pedal is applied. So, long story short, there isn't a way for that cold air Intake to work on the car. Sorry man. Hopefully this helped a little bit.
