radio and lights not woring

had to put a new battery and fuse in my car because it wouldnt start and now my radio and interior lights wont  work I check all the fuses and they are good is there any thing else I can do before I have to take it in to a machanic

Did you use the preset saver tool before unhooking the old battery? If not then the computer will most likely have to be reflashed at the dealer.
