2010 Chevy express 3500 No front or rear heat or air
Neither front or rear blower motor ac or heat is working on my parent's 2010 chevy express 3500 van. When we set it so that it blows outside air, neither the heat or air works in the front or rear, and neither blower is running. Dad checked the fuses, but isn't sure he knows where they all are. Since nothing is working, we have nothing to diagnose. Any ideas?
I just re-read the question, and in the morning light, it isn't as clear as it was late last night. Neither the front or rear system works in any way. We set it to outside air as we drove to see if it was just the blowers, but neither hear or air worked that way either. We hope it is a fuse, or a plug somewhere, but fear a more significant electronic piece. He had the "blower motor resistor" problems that are so common with Chevy trucks, and fixed the offending wire, but did not have to replace the resistor or motor. Would the front blower or resistor being out make the rear system not work too?
