brake pedal contact to brake lights

My brake lights wont go off.  How do I change the contact on the brake pedal?

There's a brake switch, a small box at the brake peddle that has a little piston or rocker that moves with the peddle. It's probably sticking. You could try to spray a lubricant on it, like WD-040, and move the mechanism to work it in. If that doesn't do it, replace the switch: it's really easy to do.
