Won't accelerate when first started
I live in South Florida (it's 85+ degrees), have 85k miles on my 2010 Chevy Equinox.
Over the last two months or so, my car hesitates to accelerate when I'm first starting out. I press down on the gas and sometimes have to pump it to get going. This is only happening when the car has sat for several hours (6+), like when leaving in the morning and after work in the evening. It's stalled twice in the morning, but restarted fine and didn't have any issues afterwards. It happens if I try to accelerate slow or fast, and always within 3-5 minutes of starting the car. It doesn't happen while driving throughout the rest of the day, or if I park for 2-3 hours then drive.
Thinking it was a fuel issue, I've tried fuel treatments, premium grade gas, and even taking it on longer trips, instead of city driving. I've tried keeping the AC off, it has no effect on it happening. There are no CEL.
It seems to be getting worse, almost stalling and hesitating more.
Any ideas of what to check first? Fuel pump? Air filter? Fuel filter?
