Remove dash assembly, discharge AC and disconnect the condenser if equipped. remove heater hoses from heater core tubes from engine compartment, remove heater box assembly, disassemble the box to gain access to the heater core and replace with new unit, reassemble heater box and reinstall, reconnect the AC condenser and hook up vacuum pump to AC system and let run while you complete reinstalling the dash and heater hoses, refill cooling system and recharge AC system if no vacuum leaks are present. This would run anywhere from 750 to 1000 bucks in a shop. The complexity of this job makes most people opt for a shop to do the work. HTH
