could be a few things. you need to know if its getting fuel and if it is is it enough? u put gas in the car then it acted up. did anything come on.the.dash? check engine? gas cap not tight, fuel filter clogged, bad gas, filter sock.on fuel pump clogged, are all possibilities. need info like milage, where you.drive (enviornment),auto or manual, how many miles, are things that are handy to know

fuel filter on fuel pump in tank and i bet theres one under one of the doors under the car. right on the frame rail.

I have a 2011 aveo, and mine did the same thing, and it was the mass air flow sensor.

Reminder, pay for DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, Firestone is about $75 with coupon. It will tell you EXACTLY what is broken before you start buying unnecessary parts that DON'T need fixing. Yes money up front, but pays off in the end. I just use Firestone. Autoxone Free is NOT DIAGNOSTIC TESTING.
