when i am tryin to shift hard into 2nd it wont go in easily
when i am at the drag strip wit my 95 lude the rpms get around 8000 rpm's and i go into 2nd it wont go in i bout have to break the stick to get it into 2nd
syncros most likely.
thats what i am thinkin but idk much bout manual trans
just take it into your local mechanic and ask him to have a look at it. im pretty much in the same boat. but you could also try double clutching...that would match your trannie speed to your engine...
but the funny thing is that dont work as well as it seems it still dont wanna go into gear wit doin that
I wouldn't double clutch at 8000 rpm's....that's lame...double clutching is for low rpm's engine's
yea i kno its not a drag car but it is set up for it tho and i am gettin a new trans in a few weeks
syncros . its from slamming it in gear (shifting hard)
your transmission is broked...
syncronizers are bad in tranny mine grinds 3rd any higher than 2500 rpms
syncros! its kinda common. you can try to burnish them but i doubt itll help. just rebuild it or get a junkyard trans.
