97 Passport- brake light does not light up in rear during night time- lights are on, but it works fine in daytime, where to start looking????

Rear brake light does not get brighter,when brake are stepped on during night time( when lights are on).
Here's what  i fond out the front blinkers get's brighter when stepping on brakes.

Did they cross wires? which one ?

where to start looking to figure where the issue?
