I have a X Reg Honda Accord 2.0. Basically someone has a fitted a new battery in the car that is slightly too small for the battery compartment. The car has ran fine for months and now recently the battery has started going flat overnight. Basically I just noticed the fog lights have settings 0, 1, 2 and 3 and they have been left at setting 1 from the other day by mistake. My question is could this be the cause of the battery running flat or do I need to purchase a new battery?

The battery is probably 1) Too small for the car load placed on it 2) Too old( 5 to 7 yrs is max battery life) & 3) Was probably used when put in the car, So just buy a properly sized new one and put it in.
