Why won’t my remote starter work

My 09 Pontiac g6 all my buttons work on
my wireless key remote but i don’t know
how to start it with the remote but it say i
can it only beep with the emergency lights
but won’t start it

Lock it until it honks. Hold down top button till it starts.
