car will not start but making noises
2009 BUICK ENCLAVE–PUT SPARE "DONUT" TIRE ON IT 2 DAYS AGO.HAVE NOT DRIVEN OR STARTED IT. ORDERED NEW TIRE. GOT IN CAR TO TAKE TO TIRE SHOP.CAR WILL NOT START. NOTHING NOT EVEN CLICKS. LOOKED UNDER HOOD TO JUMP IT OFF.CANNOT FIND BATTERY STEMS.THEN CLICKING AND GRINDING NOISE ALL OVER CAR.TRIED TO TAKE KEYS OUT BUT THEY’RE STUCK IN THE IGNITION IN THE OFF BUT NOT LOCKED POSITION TO TAKE THEM OUT.WHAT DO I DO NOW?
You need to get power to the car to remove the key. To jump start the car, look under the hood on the passenger side. Look for a red cover and lift, this is the positive jump terminal. Just above that on the firewall is a ground terminal. To replace the battery it's located in the floor behind the front passengers seat. It has a cover that has a small torx bit screw holding it in place.
Thank you. I was concerned that perhaps there was a computerized problem with changing the tire. Every time I do anything to this car I have to enter a code to set the computer again.
thank you. I was concerned about the computerized system/codes etc that always happen when I do anything to this car. the problem is probably not as bad as I thought. thanks again!
