Engine management oil water lights on dim renault twingo

It sounds like an electrical issue to me to. The clue is that the lights go out with the interior lights. It sounds like there is power being backfed. I would suggest checking the ground connections for the interior lighting circuit.

Sorry im not very good with cars andthings. What and where are ground connections? Is this going to be a big expensive job or even mean taking dash to bits? Also my MOT is due end of next month will it be affected? And is it safe to drive? Thank u so much for ur first answer! I have been obsessively checking oil and water worrying that maybe it IS something wrong! I dont know much about cars but i do know a little about electrics and defo thought the interior light switching off at the same time was weird. Also it doesnt turn off symbols on dash if i switch off interior light by the switch

This sounds like a fault within the dash display cluster itself. Not an unknown issue with Renaults, suffering short circuit across the tracks of the circuit board; you will need an auto electrician or Renault specialist to confirm this.
