My Rpms shoot up and once I apply the brakes it shuts off

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So while driving my rpm shoot up
and when I apply the brakes it shuts
off, when I slow down my rpms
sometime stay up between 1.5 and 2
(I'm bad at cars sorry)

Check the brake booster check valve.
