Just read and tried the mode to disengage auto locks for a 99 Explorer. Mine is a 98, no horn at end and drivers door remains locked. Will this work on a 98? What else can I try? I want to bypass

From the way the diagram looks there is no way to bypass the system unless you take it completely out and go totally manual. HTH
