1999 GMC Jimmy smoke coming from under hood

GMC Jimmy, smoke is coming from under
hood, possibly from actual engine, oil levels
appear great, the coolant full, also coolant in
overflow tank, still smoking from engine
why?

You have to determine what is leaking. Usually oil or coolant leaks onto the exhaust and hot engine and burns off, usually not enough to produce smoke, so you have a big leak of some kind. What does it smell light? Color? see any wetness?
