Cargo Van Seating

Asked by Sep 20, 2019 at 01:19 PM about the 2003 GMC Safari

Question type: General

Is the cargo van set up to take second and/or third row seats?

Cargo vans have the same floor pan as passenger vans; just no interior, but you might find plugs or pressed points where seat anchors would go. Sixty years ago, they were popular, and people added custom interiors or just threw a bed in the back: hippie style. Cargo vans also don't have windows, so if you add seating, you might want to consider punching some holes in the sides..... Groovy!
