Battery

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every morning when I try to start the car my battery is completely dead. Does that mean there is a problem with my car or is just the battery or what? Please advise.

Could be both, if a cell is shorted or sulfated it will pull the others down in short order so it will have to be tested for amperage and load carrying capacities, then the vehicle will have to be check for excessive battery draw and charging outputs, if any draws are found they will have to be repaired and if the charging system is not up to specs it will also need attention.
